If you're driving manually and you see oncoming traffic, honk your horn and the cars/trucks/vans will pull over to the roadside and stop. The solution is to stop the harvester when unloading and let the tractor pass. The AI is rather stubborn and will sometimes pull in front of the harvester and get stuck. If it reaches 100% capacity, it will go to storage and unload and then return to its original spot. When you honk the horn (tap the rear touch screen) while harvesting, your nearby tractor with tipper wagon will drive up and unload your harvester, then return to its original spot. I have steps for my playthrough listed here: LINKĭo not disable the horn in the settings screen. While you could use corn for chaff, that also requires a separate piece of equipment to do that. Canola sells for more and shares the same harvesting header for the combine. Sugar beets and potatoes are not as profitable as the other 3 grains for the time invested, so I advise ignoring them.įor this version I saw no point in planting corn. By the time you can afford the semi tractor to pull it, you are not going to want to deal with all of the loading and unloading of this trailer. The Low Loader Transport is not all that useful. Also, there is a game glitch whereby you can simply QUIT the game and immediately reload the game which causes all cut grass to immediately be dried. It is very expensive and this cost causes your crop production growth sales to be much smaller so your overall net profit is small compared to the extra work.ĭo not buy the single Tedder. Its benefits are small and it is very time consuming.ĭo not use the basic fertilizer that requires you to fill at the fertilizer station. My observations/opinions:ĭo not invest in Baling. The road to platinum will have you playing the majority of what the game offers there are no major shortcuts. I strongly recommend backing up your save to the PS cloud or a USB drive every 4-5 hours it's a long game! It usually works on sending them to the location, but only about half of the time will they come back to their starting location (where you hired them). While this game does allow you to hire workers to sell your goods at drop-off locations (which is an awesome improvement from previous versions), it is quite buggy.
#FARMING SIMULATOR 16 MANUAL#
The only manual save is to select QUIT from the game menu. There is an auto-save that occurs roughly every 5 minutes. The closest substitute is to exit to the main menu (which actually is pretty quick). Keep this in mind so you do not cause crops to wither because you left a menu open.

Even when you have menus open, the game continues in the background. There is no "pause" concept in this game.

There are 3 difficulty levels but all trophies can be learned on "Beginner". There is no time scaling so the game always progresses at the same rate.

There is no cruise control as there are with other versions of this game. Here are some notable items for this game: There really is no viable shortcut to cut down on playtime. The 32 hours is the minimum time anyone could do it legit which means most people will take longer than that. This is a very laid back, slow-paced game and there could be a broad spectrum of how long it takes the average person to attain the platinum trophy. There is no multiplayer capability for the PS Vita version of this game. The 2016 version includes tree forestry and animal husbandry. This version is very similar to Farming Simulator 2015, except it has been geared towards handheld devices such as PS Vita and the entire mobile device market. This game is a fourth iteration of the Farming Simulator for 2016. Does difficulty affect trophies?: No (but it will take longer).Approximate amount of time to platinum: 32-40 hours ( Estimated Time to Platinum).Estimated trophy difficulty: 1/10 ( Platinum Difficulty Rating).
